PLEASE NOTE:

1. Covid insurance:
Tennis Australia (TA) is insured by Chubb for travel purposes. Under the travel policy,
Masters players representing Tennis Australia and/or participating in Tennis Australia events
are considered insured person(s). The insurance cover includes loss of deposits, cancellation
and curtailment expenses. The policy also covers medical expenses to an unlimited value,
with no COVID-19 exclusion. All travel insurance claims would be considered on their merits
in accordance with the usual policy terms and conditions.

2. Travel requirements:
Prior to applying, all players are responsible for making sure they can meet all travel
requirements both in and out of Australia and U.S.A.

Nomination Conditions

2025 ITF World Tennis Masters Team Championships 

Age Groups: 60-70 years

Florida, USA

Sunday 11th May to Friday 16th May  2025

1. As outlined in the Selection Policy, players may nominate for one age group within any ITF World Tennis Masters Team Championships, however are only allowed to represent in one Australian team each calendar year. Players are therefore able to nominate for a younger age group, should they wish to do so. . 

2. By nominating and confirming your agreement in the boxes below, you agree to the terms of; 

a) the Tennis Australia/Tennis Seniors Australia Selection Policy
b) the ITF Masters Regulations. 

If selected, you agree to complete and return a Consent form by the date requested by Tennis Seniors Australia. 

Your nomination will NOT be accepted unless you agree to point 2 above. 

3. Your nomination represents a commitment to compete. Please fully consider all matters such as your physical fitness and health, family and business responsibilities, leave from work, financial costs or any other personal reasons which might affect your availability at the time of the Team Championships. Any withdrawal after selection is a serious matter of concern as it may affect compliance with ITF Regulations as well as impacting a number of other people. 

4. If you intend to compete in the ITF World Individual Championships, you are also obliged to meet your full playing commitments in that event. Your return travel arrangements must take this into account. 

5. Travel Insurance will be provided by Tennis Australia and will cover players for a reasonable period before and after the Team and Individual Championships. The travel insurance provided will NOT cover other trips before or after these events. Players will need to take out additional travel insurance to cover these periods. 

6. Please ensure your passport is current and has at least six months validity from your expected return date from overseas. 

7. Late nominations will not be considered under any circumstances after the closing deadline shown above. 

Player Agreement & Release

I certify that: 

1. I am eligible to represent Australia in accordance with the ITF regulations, am of good standing with TA/TSA, hold a current valid Australian passport, and have not nominated to represent any other country for which I may hold dual citizenship in the past 36 months, 

2. I am a registered financial member of a State/Territory Division of TSA (including overseas players), 

3. I have reached or will have reached the minimum age limit by 31st December of the year in which the ITF World Tennis Masters Team Championships is conducted, 

4. I have an ITF International Player Identification Number (IPIN), and 

5. I have fully considered all matters such as physical fitness and health, family and business responsibilities, leave from work, financial costs or any other personal reason which might affect my availability at the time of the Team Championships. 

6. I have or have not had a major injury, illness or medical procedure in the past 12 months.  # answer question below

I acknowledge that it is an honour to represent Australia and if selected undertake to:

1. Complete and return all forms, and provide all additional information requested by TA/TSA within required timeframes, 

2. Satisfy any reasonable conditions imposed by the Selectors, 

3. Notify TA/TSA as soon as possible of any circumstance that might prevent me from taking my place in the team, 

4. Arrive in time (the preceding Friday at the latest) before the event to practice with the team and attend the opening ceremony, 

5. Wear the team playing uniform in all matches and use the official team clothing provided, 

6. Help to boost morale by supporting the team and attending any bonding session, 

7. Comply with the reasonable directions of the Team Captain, 

8. Handle any personality conflicts if they arise in a mature manner with the Captain, and if they cannot be resolved at that level, then with the Group Coordinator, and 

9. Display a positive attitude to my team and to other teams in the Championship and foster good sportsmanship with my fellow players. 

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ 

I acknowledge that failure to comply with these undertakings may affect my selection prospects in future years, and in extreme cases (e.g. failing to arrive or arriving injured without proper notifications), I can be asked to refund any payments already made to me by TA. 

In submitting a nomination form I agree, as a condition of nomination, that for myself and my executors, administrators, heirs and personal representatives, all claims of any kind, nature and description are waived, including past, present and future claims and injuries if any sustained in travelling to or from or participating in competition, against Tennis Australia, Tennis Seniors Australia, the ITF, host nations and sponsors of the competition.
